We moved to Kenya in 2019 to follow Oli’s dream of opening a beach bar, which became the much-loved Salty Squid on Diani Beach. What began as an adventure soon became home as we fell in love with the easy rhythm of coastal life and the warmth of the Diani community.
With years of experience in hospitality and wellness between us, we’d always dreamed of creating something together that combined thoughtful design with the relaxed pace of coastal Kenya.
Eden Escapes, founded in 2024, is the result. It’s a small collection of design-led holiday homes in Diani Beach, inspired by Kenya’s colours, local craftsmanship, and Swahili heritage. Each villa offers privacy, comfort, and a calm connection to nature.
Our homes are designed to be a peaceful base for exploring Diani, unwinding by the Indian Ocean, and experiencing the very best of Kenya’s south coast.
